Aquatemp® 1860-LV-2 is a low viscosity temper mill lubricant for application on coated products during tempering or “skin pass” processes. It cleans the mill and strip, reduces roll pickup, permits higher mill speeds than dry tempering operation and provides lubrication to achieve required elongations. It is a solvent based product which evaporates after processing and can be coated with petroleum based coating oils. Hamico® 142 is designed for use as a vanishing lubricant. It contains lubricity additives which make it suitable for stamping, blanking and deep drawing of light gauge steel, stainless steel, brass, and aluminum. This product’s evaporation rate is faster than that of Hamico® 138-L. Hamilube® 1904 is a hot forging lubricant for all types of steel. It may be used for press forging, drop forging and upset forging. It is a soluble oil with added lubrication value for metal surfaces at normal or elevated temperatures. It disperses in plain water to form a uniform, white, stable emulsion. It can be applied in its emulsion form on hot metal surfaces. Hamilube® 1989 is a specially formulated synthetic lubricant for use in metal forming operations on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, such as cooper or brass. It is recommended for drawing, stamping, blanking and cutting as a replacement for petroleum based straight oils. It contains no oil, sulfur, or chlorine. It provides excellent high film strength boundary lubrication, leaves no residue upon burnoff in an anneal, and is easily removed. Hamilube®1989-B is a lower viscosity version of Hamilube® 1989. Hamico® 138-L is designed for use as a vanishing oil. It contains lubricity additives which make it ideal for stamping, blanking or drawing of light to medium gauge steel and aluminum. Hamico® 138-L has extremely low odor, is non-emulsifying, has a rapid evaporation rate, and leaves minimal residue. Application of the lubricant can be via spraying, flooding or swabbing. Hamico® 1003 is a light colored, transparent, odorless lubricating oil for machinery and equipment requiring an extremely clean condition with a light oil. It can be used in many applications where light lubrication is needed, e.g., forming, bending, stamping, straightening. It can be used on all metals as received, by pumping, dip, spray or wipe. Steelgard® 825 prevents “white rust” on zinc and aluminum surfaces under all conditions of indoor storage and handling as well as preventing rust on carbon steels and cast iron. Steelgard® 2005 is a new innovation for use as a temper mill fluid for coated products replacing straight oils, solvents or the practice of dry tempering. In addition to preventing white rust, it produces a better “healed-over” surface, reduces roll pick-up, permits higher mill speed and achieves elongations with lower roll force. |
