This month we celebrate 85 years of our American company, Harry Miller Corp. In the rear view mirror we can see how the company has grown, embraced change and flourished. We are older than some of the other long-standing American companies considered “household names” like:
These companies were established just after Harry Miller Corp (or in the next year). We like the company we keep and credit our innovative chemists, superior staff and steadfast leadership for our longevity — but our customers are the real heroes. Our customers are loyal and (by sharing their needs) continue to give us tangible goals for innovation through problem-solving their particular challenges. It’s synergy at its best!
Bruce Entwisle, the President of Harry Miller Corp., has been in a management or leadership role in the company since 1983. He speaks for the entire corporate body when he says:
“We’re so pleased to reach a new milestone of 85 years in continuous business especially when I think of all the potential business interruptions over that span of time including: a world war, deep economic turn-downs and, most recently, a global pandemic. It’s a credit to the many people that worked and made their life’s career here and to our loyal customers. I’m incredibly proud to have led the organization for a segment of its long lifeline. Together, we look forward to continued growth and prosperity in the coming years for our own company and for the customers we serve. A big thank you to our employees for keeping us innovative, strong and always moving forward!”
