Immunol® 1228-2 – NDT Additive

Immunol® 1228-2 is an additive for use in non destructive test applications such as ultrasonic inspection or hydrostatic (or pressure) testing. It provides rust protection and reduced surface tension to water baths used for immersion testing of these types. Is recommended for systems constructed of (or used for testing) steel and aluminum. This version provides much lower surface tension to water than Immunol® 1228. Protection against flash rusting and short term indoor storage provided. Product improves the effect of ultrasonic waves from transducer. It improves the liquid media by eliminating air pockets more rapidly. (For systems with agitation or rapid re-circulation, use Immunol® 1228)

Immunol® 438 – Magnetic Inspection NDT Additive

Immunol® 438 is an additive for water when water is used in place of solvents to suspend pastes and powders as in magnetic particle inspection, i.e., Magnaflux and Magnaglo. Immunol® 438 is also an additive to hydrostatic test solutions and provides rust inhibition, dispersion and wetting to steel, iron, copper, brass and zinc surfaces.

Immunol® 1392-J – Water Soluble Rust Preventive

Immunol® 1392-J is odorless and dissolves instantly in any kind of water (even the very hardest) to make a clear, thin solution. Immunol® 1392-J has a slightly alkaline pH of 9.0 and is a detergent and rust inhibiting chemical for use on cast iron, cast steel and other ferrous metals. Immunol® 1392-J protects cast iron and ferrous metals submerged in its solutions for months and forms invisible, quick drying, protective coatings on metal, which insure maximum “indoor” protection. Deposited coatings of Immunol® 1392-J are water soluble and, therefore, will not show to advantage in humidity cabinet tests, due to condensation and the ease of washing the product off with plain water. Immunol® 1392-J will not cloud in water and will not gum or decompose when circulated in water. Immunol® 1392-J has exceptional power of heat absorption and convection. Immunol® 1392-J is not recommended for use on aluminum, copper or brass.

Immunol® 791-J – Mild Cleaner and Rust Inhibitor

Immunol® 791-J is an ultrasonic test tank additive that will dissolve instantly in any kind of water to make a clear, thin solution. Immunol® 791-J is a mild detergent and rust inhibiting chemical for use on cast iron, cast steel and other ferrous metals, but is not recommended for use on aluminum, copper or brass. Immunol® 791-J protects cast iron and ferrous metals submerged in its solution indefinitely and forms invisible, quick drying protective coatings on metal, which insure maximum “indoor” protection. Immunol® 791-J will not cloud in solutions of water at temperatures up to 210 (F) and will not gum or decompose when circulated in water.

Immunol® S-6 – Cleaner and Degreaser

Immunol® S-6 is used for all general cleaning and degreasing of ferrous and non-ferrous parts and equipment replacing flammable, toxic solvents and alkaline cleaners. Immunol® S-6 emulsifies oils, mill soils and provides mild indoor rust protection in one operation. Immunol® S-6 is used in steel mills, metalworking plants, paper and textile mills as a “general purpose” solvent cleaner and is widely used in tumbling and as a “bucket” solvent. Immunol® S-6 may also used as additive for vibratory deburring or finishing. (Use Immunol S-6-I grade for additional aluminum protection.)

Immunol® Regular – Detergent Immersion Cleaner

Immunol® Regular is an immersion cleaner and rust preventive to impart clean, non-oily, invisible film of mild rust protection on metal parts with the exception of cast iron and cast steel. As a detergent, as a wetting agent, and to immunize water against rusting.

Immunol® S-6-H – Detergent Immersion Cleaner

Immunol® S-6-H is a detergent type cleaner for soak tank cleaning and degreasing of ferrous and non-ferrous parts. It emulsifies oils such as drawing compounds and rust preventives, and removes mill soils and smut very effectively. It may also be used for general purpose cleaning as a “bucket” solvent to replace more flammable or toxic materials. If used on aluminum, extended immersion times (one hour or more) produce darkening. Use Immunol® S-6-I as an alternative for aluminum.

Immunol ® Extra-J – Wetting Agent and Cleaner

Immunol ® Extra-J a detergent, wetting agent and rust preventive for cleaning and protecting most ferrous metals against rust. Not suitable for use on cast iron and cast steel. Replaces Immunol® Extra and contains no nitrosamines.

Immunol® AC-20 – Maintenance Acid Cleaner

Immunol® AC-20 an acid cleaner for use on equipment or floors stained with oxide or rust. It renews the appearance of equipment to a bright, shiny finish and protects against flash rust. Just mix with water, apply, let it perform and rinse off.

Immunol® AC-11 – Metal Cleaner and Brightener

Immunol® AC-11 is a cleaner/brightener for usage in vibratory finishing or tumbling operations. A mildly acidic compound, it brightens steel, copper or brass parts. It provides detergency and wetting to suspend and carry off oils and smut from the surface of the metal parts being cleaned. It will not rust steel media. It is inhibited against attack on aluminum, so it will not etch the surface. This product is compatible with plastic, steel or ceramic media.
